Shark Attacks or Encounters -The Importance of Words

Researchers suggest we should be so so quick to label every interaction between sharks and humans as a shark attack. Instead, they suggest we classify them as one of:

• shark attacks;
• shark encounter;
• shark bite; or
• fatal shark attack

I agree.
